Painting Project

A quick update for everyone on the Painting Project. The Board selected a contractor at their Special Meeting of April 7, 2016. The contract has been received and is being reviewed. We anticipate a start date in mid-May. They will be beginning at the Clubhouse and working down Rex Place on buildings between Medallion and Rex until they reach No Name Street. Borrowing tools

It has come to our attention that owner’s have been borrowing tools and supplies for their own personal projects. If anyone needs tools, then you need to stop by the office and pick up a key to the owner’s workshop to see if the tools needed are there to be borrowed. The tools belonging to maintenance are property of the Association and not there for individual use. Supplies When an owner wants to paint his/her patio, doors, landings, etc. the Association will supply the paint to do the work. Paint is the ONLY thing the Association will supply. Since that owner wants to do, or have the work done, it is at their discretion and not the Association, so owner’s have to supply their own paint brushes and rollers. Paint brushes and rollers are very expensive and not to be given out for owner’s use. UNIT INFORMATION Along with the 2nd notice there is a unit information form. Recently, the office has had emergencies and have not been able to contact owners because of phone number changes or discontinued. Please fill out the form whether any of the information has changed or not just so we can compare the information to make sure what we have on file is correct. Register your e-mail with the office.

As most know, the association membership passed a change in the Documents to allow the association to send official noticed to owners by e-mail. This will add the owners that live in Europe and Canada that the mail sometimes takes two to three weeks to arrive. This is a problem with the timing for the return correspondence. On the owners password protected side you will find forms to register you e-mail. This will also allow us to inform you of important information about your community, building, units and upcoming meetings. New City park With the construction of the new city park going on across the street, renters have asked why this work has not been mentioned at the time of the rentals. Please let your tenants know that this work is being done in advance as a courtesy. Once here they may demand their money back for the early morning noise and the inconvenience. Just a suggestion!
